STIG audit baselines for Windows devices in commercial tenants
Intune will support STIG audit baselines for Windows devices in commercial tenants. You'll be able to assess devices against Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) recommendations and review per-setting and per-device results to identify configuration gaps and prioritize remediation. The baseline will evaluate supported automated checks without changing device settings, helping you understand where follow-up is needed before making configuration changes. This feature will require Intune Advanced Analytics. Rules that require manual verification will need to be assessed separately; the automated results won't replace those manual checks.
Applies to:
Windows
Configure Quality Update approvals and policies for Quick Machine Recovery (QMR)
Windows Autopatch currently offers limited control over the deployment of quality updates. Today, the expedite mechanism focuses on deploying the latest security update and doesn't let admins select specific quality update releases or apply different deployment schedules, which can limit compliance, validation, and operational planning scenarios.
